Ski Trip in Switzerland

For SISQ MYP and DP Students only!

We are delighted to inform our families that, after the success of the February 2019 ski trip, we are yet again planning to organise a ski trip for all MYP and DP students to Verbier Ski Resort in Switzerland.

This trip will take place from Saturday 8th February until Saturday 15th February 2020 (during the mid-term break).

This trip is once again organised through Les Elfes ski company, who have many years of experience organising such trips and come highly recommended by SISQ staff and other schools. It will also be a valuable opportunity for students to learn a new skill and develop their French language skills.

Based on the cost of the 2019 trip, we anticipate that the total cost of the trip will be approximately 10,000 QAR per student. This will depend on final flight prices and the number of students that sign up. 

Places on the trip are limited so we encourage students to sign up as soon as possible.

The following is a list of what is included in the above price. There would be no additional costs unless students wish to bring spending money and need to rent ski clothing or buy items such as ski gloves, goggles and socks.

• Return flight from Doha to Geneva, Switzerland
• Return transfers from Geneva Airport to Verbier Ski Resort
• Accommodation in 2-4 bedded rooms with ensuite bathrooms
• 4 meals per day
• 6 day ski pass
• 6 days lessons and guiding (skiing or snowboarding)
• Rental of ski equipment (not including clothing)
• Taxes and services
• Insurance
• Evening activities

The trip is open to all students who will be studying the MYP and DP next year.
