The Swiss International School in Qatar (SISQ) is a new international private school for children aged 3 to 18 years in Doha. Philip has been involved in international education for over 30 years; prior to joining the Swiss International School in Qatar he served as the High School Principal at the International School Bangkok. He has previously held administrative and teaching positions in Peru, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, France and Wales.
Nancy studied Philosophy in France and in the UK, and taught languages in Japan, the US and Spain before starting her career as an IB educator. Nancy is passionate about international education in general and the IB in particular: she taught various IB subjects for 12 years, conducts IB workshops, leads teams of examiners and was the author of the IB Philosophy textbook.
Susan spent the first years of her teaching career in the UK, but for the last 18 years she has been on the leadership teams of international schools across Eastern Europe, Central Europe and Western Europe. Before joining the Swiss International School in Qatar as the Head of Primary School, Susan was the Head of Elementary at St John’s International School in Belgium.
John has 28 years of teaching and senior leadership experience. Prior to joining SISQ he was already well established in Qatar as an Assistant Head at the Doha British School. He has previously taught in both London and Dorset. John has led and developed highly successful educational teams in the areas of Teaching and Learning, ECAs, 21st Century Skills development and community links.
Lana has been working in education for over eleven years, four of those in Qatar. Prior to arriving in Doha, Lana was an Assistant Principal and Head of Sixth Form at Chelsea Academy in London, where she helped to set up a large new school. She has previously worked as a pastoral leader and university and careers adviser, as well as working with gifted and talented students.
