A Trip for Every Stage

Age-appropriate experiences for every learner

Our field trip programme is designed to be age-appropriate and responsive to the needs of our students.

Early Years

Our youngest learners participate in carefully selected experiences that encourage curiosity and help them make connections between their classroom learning and the world around them.

Trips may include visits to farms, museums, nature-based environments and other local educational destinations.

Primary School

As students progress through Primary School, field trips become increasingly connected to their learning across different subject areas.

Students may explore Qatar's natural environment, cultural heritage, science, history and local community through a variety of educational visits and experiences.

Secondary School

The safety and wellbeing of our students is our highest priority.

Every field trip is carefully planned and reviewed by the school. Trip planning considers factors such as:

Transportation arrangements

Supervision and staffing

Medical and dietary requirements

Emergency procedures

Risk assessment and safeguarding

Communication with parents and guardians

Staff accompanying students are responsible for ensuring that appropriate procedures are followed throughout each trip.

Working in Partnership with Parents

We recognise that parents play an important role in supporting successful field trip experiences.

Before a trip, parents and guardians receive relevant information about the destination, timings, arrangements, required equipment and any other important details.

Where parental consent is required, this must be completed before a student can participate.

We encourage parents to speak with their child's class teacher or the relevant trip leader if they have any questions about an upcoming experience.
