Coronavirus school closure March 2020

Dear SISQ Community,

We have been informed by the Ministry of Education that all schools in Qatar are to close from Tuesday March 10th until further notice. Please be advised that to our knowledge no one within the SISQ community has been diagnosed with the virus.

SISQ will now action the plans we have made for e-learning and I am confident that with parental support all our hard work and preparations will ensure quality learning continues.

This news might be a little unsettling for some of our students so please reread the reminders below and reassure your child that this approach is being used across the globe! That said, if you are worried about how your child is managing this situation please contact their teacher and we will do our best to support them.

Primary 
All parents of students in primary (PK-PYP) will be contacted directly by their child's teacher using SeeSaw.

Secondary
All secondary students (MYP DP) should log on to their school email at 7.20am from tomorrow, Tuesday 10th March, to access their timetable. If students have not received an email by 7.20am, they should email Miss Kulas at [email protected]

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all people who are suffering from the Coronavirus and to those who are working hard to protect us all.
