SISQ holds ‘Leadership Tools for Teacher Leaders’ workshop

‘Leadership Tools for Teacher Leaders’, one of the professional workshops offered by Swiss International School in Qatar (SISQ) this academic year, was a huge success! Held 21^st to 22^nd of November 2019, Director of the Principals’ Training Center for International School Leadership (PTC) Bambi Betts graced the event and delivered this course which was designed to help department heads and team leaders understand both the complexity and importance of their roles and to provide them with essential tools for effective leadership.

First of its kind in the international setting, this course recognizes that international schools worldwide have adopted an organizational model which often includes grade level team leaders and heads of department who are, in fact, critical to student learning and continuous improvement. Representatives from Swiss International School in Qatar, Vision International School, ACS International School Doha, International School of London and GEMS American Academy Qatar took part in the said workshop.

Bambi, who is also the director of the Teacher Training Center for International Educators (TTC), has been a director, principal and teacher in international schools for over 30 years, and has been a consultant in over 150 international schools.
