Two SISQ educators obtained National Geographic certification

Kate Flood, SISQ’s PYP Mathematics Coordinator and Instructional Coach, and Vlatka Kalecak, SISQ’s Early Years Coordinator and Teacher, have been awarded a National Geographic Educator Certification.

The said certification is rooted in a Learning Framework that is built around a set of attitudes, skills and knowledge areas that embody the attributes of an explorer. It is a professional development program that recognizes educators who are committed to inspiring the next generation of explorers, conservationists and changemakers.

National Geographic Certified Educators like Kate and Vlatka are now part of a powerful movement to make the world a better place by empowering students to be informed decision-makers equipped to solve meaningful challenges in their communities and beyond.
